Using the Wireless Microphone

1. Turn the amplifier ON:  Press the button in the lower right area of the amplifier so that it is In.  The meter above it should be illuminated.

2. Turn on the wireless receiver (the box with the two antenna near the Printer/Copier/Scanner/Fax): Press the "1" on the switch on the right of the unit.

3. Turn on the remote unit: Turn the swith to On. The light will be initially red but will then switch to green.

4. Adjust the sound level: If necessary, you can use the round dial on the wireless receiver to adjust the volume.

Turn the Wireless Microphone Off:

1. Turn the remote unit off: Turn the switch to Off.

2. Turn the wireless receiver off: Press the "0" on the switch on the right of the unit.

3. Turn the amplifier off. Press the button on the lower right area of the amplifier sot hat it is Out. The light in the meter above it should go off.

Using the old Wireless Microphone (in case we keep it as a spare).

THE ORDER OF THE FOLLOWING STEPS IS NECESSARY TO PREVENT STATIC NOISE.

1.  Set the WIRELESS unit into the STANDBY mode:  Move the switch on top of wireless unit to ST - the center position of the switch.  The red light on top of the unit should come on.  If it does not, replace the battery.  Spare batteries are in the Unit cabinet.

  • ON:  Set switch to end position farthest from large wire connected to the top.
  • STANDBY (ST):  Set switch to middle position.
  • OFF:  Set switch to end position nearest large wire connected to the top.


2. Turn the amplifier ON:  Press the button in the lower right area of the amplifier so that it is IN.  The meter above it should be illuminated.

3.  Set the WIRELESS microphone volume:  Turn the RED knob in the upper, left corner of the amplifier CLOCKWISE until the ridge on the knob matches the mark on the amplifier face.

4.  Set the WIRELESS microphone ON to talk (farthest from large wire), STANDBY when not in use (middle position).  DO NOT SET THE WIRELESS UNIT TO OFF WHILE THE AMPLIFIER IS TURNED ON TO PREVENT STATIC NOISE.

Turning Sound System Off

THE ORDER OF THE FOLLOWING STEPS IS NECESSARY TO PREVENT STATIC NOISE.

1.  Turn OFF the WIRELESS microphone volume: Turn the RED knob in the upper, left corner of the amplifier COUNTER-CLOCKWISE until it stops.

2. Set the WIRELESS microphone switch to OFF: Set switch to end position nearest large wire connected to the top.  The red light on top of the unit should go out.  PLEASE BE SURE TO TURN THE WIRELESS UNIT OFF TO CONSERVE BATTERY LIFE.

3.  (Optional) Turn the amplifier OFF:  Press the button in the lower right area of the amplifier so that it is OUT.  The dial above the switch should not be illuminated.

NOTE:  It is not necessary to turn down the WIRED microphone or MASTER VOLUME controls.  IT IS BEST IF YOU LEAVE THEM AT THEIR PROPER SETTINGS.
