Generating Game Results

Overview

Game results are generated using the LRE command in ACBLScore.

If a game has more than one section, the LRE command must be used for each section.

If two or more games are in the same game file, the results for the each game must be generated and uploaded to the internet before the results for the next game are generated and uploaded to the internet.

The results are uploaded to the internet using a customized program for each club owner located on the Windows desktop.

Procedure

ACBLScore will usually default to the proper parameters when generating game results.  If so, pressing Enter will accept them.  However, it is possible that it will not so you should check that the correct parameters are selected as you generate the results.

  • Select a section for the desired game.
  • Enter LRE in the command line and press Enter.
  • Select Recap Destination: Select (4) Short Press and Recap and press Enter
  • File location:  Press Enter

If there is more than one section in the same game (not a separate game):

  • Change to another section using the F7 key
  • Enter LRE in the command line and press Enter
  • Press Enter for each option you are shown.  They will all be properly set from the first section.  Note:  the Select option (file already exists) window will display (1) Append to existing file which is correct.
  • Repeat for each additional section.

If there is a different game in the same game file:

  • The game results for the first game must be uploaded to the internet before generating the game results for the second game.
  • Use the instructions, above, for the new game making sure to choose (2) Overwrite (Original file destroyed) in the Select option (file already exists) window.
