Unit 503 Restricted Fund

Our Unit is creating a fund which is to be used by our unit to promote bridge, to educate the young in our favorite game, for community outreach and to provide our members with world class speakers and other continuing education programs.

Examples of activities we can fund under this program are:
  • Promoting Bridge playing by the younger generation.  By establishing outreach programs to local grade schools, high schools, and colleges, we can ensure the game’s future.
  • Publicity & Promotion.  By generating community awareness in the Senior Centers as well as in our community and by establishing unique Newcomer programs we can entice more players to join us.
  • Continuing Education.  By providing world class guest speaker series and on-going bridge seminars, our members will enjoy continued improvement in their games. By establishing a reference library of books and software/computer for self-study, our members will enjoy improvement in their games at their leisure.

The Unit 503 Restricted Fund is administered by the ACBL Educational Foundation which means your donations are tax deductible - another good reason to donate to this worthwhile cause.

If you would like to support our fund make your tax-deductible contribution to the ACBL Educational Foundation, noting Unit 503 on the memo line.
