2006 Highlights
This has been a very busy and successful year for our Unit. This is the result of a lot of hard work and dedication by our members, teachers, club owners and directors and our Board of Directors. Here are the Unit highlights:
8.5% Increase in Membership from last year.
6% Increase in Bridge Center table counts from last year.
6.9% increase in Firecracker table counts from last year.
New Firecracker site for long term.
New Newcomer games.
Fresh, new look for our website.
Revised Unit Constitution and Bylaws.
Financial System
- Finances in Quicken
- Automated Bridge Center payment forms on website
- Documented fee schedules for Bridge Center use and Unit Game director

Bridge Center
- Executed license agreements with club owners, the Unit & others for use of the Bridge Center
- Increased liability insurance at a reduced cost
- New maintenance agreement for improved services
- Replaced broken and discolored ceiling tiles
- Additional carpet cleaning
- Relamped facility
- Installed crash bars for additional security
- Installed speaker system
- Installed WiFi access to the internet (sorry, we are not a Hot Spot)
- Moved thermostats for better temperature control
- Improved recycling
- Purchased card tables for overflow into the back room

- 248,991 Pages Viewed (a little over 3 pages per visit)
- An additional 103,695 Pages Viewed by search engines such as Google, Yahoo, etc.
